Neoterra V

At first, the aliens seemed kind,
They shared their technology,
And helped us advance,
In ways we never thought possible, you see.

They founded intergalactic corporations,
And secret research labs,
All under the guise of goodwill,
But it was all a façade.

They saw us as weak,
And took advantage of our kindness,
They exploited our resources,
And our ignorance left us blind.

And so the Earth was renamed,
Neoterra, a new world of their own,
Where they ruled with an iron fist,
And we were left to groan.

But still we live on,
In this world of theirs,
Trying to make the best of it,
And hoping for better days to come, with no despair.
